Job Descriptions

Boothsitting/Roving Artist Hospitality
This is the biggest volunteer task at the Fair. As a boothsitter, you will watch artist's booths to allow them to take breaks (scheduled in half hour increments). Check with each artist to see how they would like potential buyers and additional questions handled. Upon arrival on the Fair site, boothsitter volunteers will be given a boothsitting schedule with booth numbers and times. During downtime, boothsitter volunteers can walk around the fair and see if artists need water, a quick 5 minute bathroom break, or anything else to make their experience at the Fair more enjoyable.

Artist Hospitality Tent
Volunteers stationed here help keep food and water stocked for artists and sponsors.

Information Booth/Greeter
Everyone comes here to ask questions! This makes the info booth the perfect location for townies who really know their way around. When the booth isn't busy, volunteers should take maps and walk around greeting visitors who haven't made their way to the info booth.

ArtZones
This is a place for creative volunteers to help with workshops and make-and-take art projects.
